Needless to say it was slightly photoshopped and the fact that this showed up for so many years was quite amusing to me and many others. I’ve gotten a few emails, and quite a bit of traffic over time for it. It was completely unintentional that it SEO’d so well and for so long. Ran across the image today and figured it’s a good time to tell the tale.
One day a man was writing an email when he left the room to get something to drink. In his absence, his cat walked over the keyboard and among the myriad of characters entered into the body managed to send the email off. The man returned and soon realized what had transpired. Wondering what the recipient might think receiving such a random unsolicited email, he decided to pass it off as a new programming language. He named it after his cat – Perl.
My costume for “Beach Day” 2002 (Senior Year) School Decides “beach day” would be fun. Must follow school rules regarding dress code. Well, I printed these out and taped them to my school regulation clothing. Controversial, but fun.
Well, I have been spending some time (don’t laugh) reading spam. I’m actually analyzing spam for generating some new rules for the SpamAssassin Project. It’s seriously good software, check it out. This is some real spam about my favorite science, Penis Enlargement. It is slightly suggestive, so don’t read on unless you are ok with my immature sense of humor. I don’t need complaint emails. Don’t like, don’t read. It’s that simple.
