Johnny Carson

Johnny CarsonIt’s hard to be a TV fan, especially a late-night fan, without knowing Johnny Carson. He retired when I was in 2nd grade, yet he still had an impact on my TV habits. The man was brilliant.

Now yet again the late-night scene is changing (well, in a few years 2009 to be exact). Leno, Carson’s sucessor is leaving, Conan is moving up to take over for Leno, and Carson’s buddy (and rightful late-night host) David Letterman appears to stay at CBS. I’m curious what the 3 will say in honor of Carson Monday night. All 3 obviously are vastly influenced by Carson.

Where is all my time?

I’ve been keeping rather busy these past few weeks:

  • School, – 18 credit course load is keeping me occupied.
  • r.m.o – Trying to get the r.m.o project to a point where it can be usable. Coming along well, but not quite where I want it, at least yet.
  • Project Aquarius – I’m still working on this one.
  • MacVillage.net Relaunch – No, I’ haven’t forgot, it’s a lot of work. This becomes a higher priority when r.m.o starts to stand up on it’s own two legs.
  • TV – my addiction. I love TV. Especially prime time.
  • Sleep – I try to do that for a couple hours every day if I can. Don’t get much of it, but it seems like a nice thing

Ever have that lazy feeling

Ugh… Just not in the mood to do much this week. It’s classes, the necessary classwork… and nothing else. It’s getting pathetic. Every afternoon I find myself watching reruns of “Home Improvement”, “Friends”, “Seinfeld”… all of which I have seen every episode. And I still watch.

Tonight on the other hand is new Southpark and Chapelle’s Show. Always fun. I guess again I will not be doing much. As I need to get some sleep after. That damn 8:00 class again. We all know how much I love getting up for that class. Oh well… a few more weeks, and summer vacation.
