Lights out

Working yesterday… and the power went out. Throughout the IT floor, all I could hear was cursing, and the sound of people slamming their keyboards. Lots of work was lost. Moments later, forced to run down the stairs (evacuate the building) and out the building into the chaos on the streets. Seeing a few people get tapped by speeding cars (didn’t appear to be hurt)… Decided not to step into the streets. Went into the main building, and back upstairs (STAIRS). Got fed by the cafe with “emergency rations (namely Häagen-Dazs iced cream), and hung out. Even found emergency power in the mail room (with plans to use it to watch TV). Then got a car home late last night.

I hope they hang whoever messed up causing us to lose power.

“Time Square without the lights… is just another street.”

California Govenor

I have to admit, I’m for Gary Coleman. Check out his agenda. How can you not like the guy?

I’d bet that Arnold (official site) will win. But will end up like Jessie Ventura.

More proof that the dot com’s would have done better on the east coast, where people are a bit more rational.

Mozilla Foundation’s Asa Dotzler is also running. Awesome!

Saddam’s Sons Killed

Saddam’s Sons are no longer a threat to anyone [CNN] My only bad feelings are that the people of Iraq didn’t get a chance to kill them by clubbing them to death with the sole of their shoes. Two evil men, known for torturing people, and responsible for pain in many families, whom don’t know what happened to their loved ones.

Now where is their father? And where is Bin Laden Mr. Tenet?

So who cleans David’s Balls

This article got me thinking. Who gets stuck with cleaning David’s genitalia? Is it sexual harassment if a women gets the job? Can a man sue if he is asked to do such a task? I know I wouldn’t want to be stuck on a scaffolding cleaning some marble genitalia. Perhaps that’s just me. Something about giant hard marble gonads make me think twice about cleaning. Can you contract an VD (the politically correct term for STD, meaning venereal disease)? Is your employer required to provide adequate protection?
