I decided to take a trip the morning after Steve Jobs died to the 5th Ave Apple Store. The memorial was still petty small as you can see, but there was still a decent sized crowd and a fair number of media*. It was pretty somber as people stopped to pay their respects and take a photo or two.

Inside was the quietest I’ve ever seen that store. "Business as usual" at least in policy. But in actually it was quiet when I was there. First time I’ve seen multiple iPads, iPhones and MacBook’s available to just walk up to. Not much talking.

* I found myself in a photo from at least one. There is a reasonable chance I was in more.
