Have you ever considered adding more videos to your blog posts to keep the readers more entertained? I mean I just read through the entire article of yours and it was quite good but since I'm more of a visual learner

@Kelly: Well, to be honest, it means that I shall not have to download an extension to get the behavior. The moment I heard of tabs, I heard of extensions too. I had a gripe about tabs opening at the far right, and found an extension almost instantly that did (does) what Firefox 3.6 now does by default. The extension has been current from at minimum Firefox 1.5.

But since everybody has a gripe...I'd say personas in the current state fail miserably. There is another extension, but I cannot remember the name, that does a much better job. If only I could find it again...

>New tabs open next to the current one.
Horrible idea, I noticed that on the alphas and had to find the fix in about:config (browser.tabs.insertRelatedAfterCurrent - False)

@Bob: If you say so. I have either never see those problems or if I have I didn't notice them.

"UI geeks will note that Firefox has had a few issues regarding focusing elements."

This is the understatement of the year. Focus in firefox is completely broken. Things like the tab bar swallowing the page back/forward shortcuts. Events that are not used at any given level should ALWAYS propagate though to higher levels. Firefox just does not do this in far too many instances. I curse at Firefox and vow to switch because of stuff like this on an almost daily basis. It would be awesome if this was fixed in 3.6 but I won't hold my breath.

More from a user's perspective:

Iframes finally don't lag behind when scrolling any more (especially during autoscroll)

New tabs open next to the current one.

(Repeated) audio playback finally became usable: very short clips such as this one were entirely unusable in Fx 3.5. Playback may still get a little glitchy when hovering the volume control, must most of the problems are gone. (This still doesn't work right in the latest Chrome.)

The improved UI speed is indeed noticeable (not the cold start speed, though...)
