As to how they do user interfaces – with lots of C code (see http://src.chromium.org/svn/tr.....ry_view.cc for example). So writing extension for Chrome will be some fun that I am going to skip on…

Funny how the post mentions about the combination URL/search bar – remember back in the day when Firefox (then Phoenix) came along and separated the two? After they had been combined for years in Mozilla Suite. Go figure.

Also, I’m kinda disappointed to not see about:mozilla – even IE has that.

Besides Matt’s comments, we also have about:hang (simulates hang), about:crash (simulates crash), about:cache, about:ipc (maybe only in debug mode), about:blank (duh), and (since you like Ted Stevens) about:internets (does not work on Vista).

FWIW, a screenshot on reddit lists several about: pages: about:cache about:dns about:histograms about:network about:plugins about:stats about:version You mentioned about: and about:memory too... Someone should just grep the source code. "histograms" sounds like it'll be pretty unique. (I hope all that HTML comes through.) (BTW, the email address parser doesn't seem to like signs.)
