I'm not sure if you have linux support yet, but this is not working in Ubuntu hardy heron. I get the prompts to set up the ipod and everything, but it never actually syncs.hope to see this fixed, thanks for the work!

Unsuccessful attempts:

Using Windows Xp, Thunderbird 2.0.0.12, Mozpod 0.2a1, iTunes 7.6.0.29:
Initial MP start messages came up.
Put the iPod in disk Mode (some Google reqd. here; instructions are for earlier version of iTunes)
Start TB, Tools > Add-ons indicates MP OK.
iTunes off
plug in iPod, pop-up indicates iPod detected and synchronizing, iTunes starts.
iTunes indicates it's sync finished; iPod screen says "do not disconnect".

Results: nothing.
No indication that MP started; no progress indicator; no place I can see to initiate a manual contact sync.

Return 20 minutes later: same iPod screen, storage usage as shown under Device > Properties has not changed.

Use My computer > Devices ... > drive: > eject and disconnect.
iPod Extras > Contacts show only the two iPod-generated entries that were there before.

Repeat again, starting with both TB and iTunes running. Results are the same.

Am I leaving out something?

I can't seem to get a sync of any sort i just get a returned error msg in the console

Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [nsILocalFile.initWithPath]" nsresult: "0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE)" location: "JS frame :: chrome://mozpod/content/syncmozpod.js :: anonymous :: line 297" data: no]

Any ideas how to fix this?

Works well for me so far. Just one question about it. I noticed there's the option to ignore collected addresses from the sync but it's greyed out. How would I enable this? Or is not fully implemented yet?

Thanks, Paul.

Nothing happens. I didn't get any instructions to get it working. Once installed I get the message at the bottom right of my screen when I plug in my iPod but nothing happens.

ok, I know it's a beta. This is my experience:

with Thunderbird 1.5 it worked very well.
Now, with thunderbird 2.0 lithning mozpod the calendar in correctly updated, but I got some problems with address updating:
-not all address are updated
-not all inforamtions of a single contact are updated (i.e.: the mail address is synchronized, but the phone numbers do not)

maybe, this happens because it's a beta...
Anyway: GREAT extension!!

Kind regards,
Alessandro
