Animated GIFs are very distracting.  It&#039;s more likely the ad will draw your attention repeatedly, thereby making it difficult to read any text at all.  At that point, most people will just go away.</description>

		<description>Indeed. I would expect Windows XP Service Pack 2 was the biggest popup killer. Then Google Toolbar, then Firefox, then every other toolbar/browser that blocked popups by default. They are the worst way to advertise and so it is good riddance.</description>
